micro-Max 4.8 UCI (Core) lives at github.com/64logic/micro-max-4.8-uci-core (opens in a new tab).

Chessground

The board and the pieces’ movement come from Chessground 10.4.2 by Lichess, licensed under the GNU General Public License, version 3 or later (full text (opens in a new tab)). The pieces themselves are the cburnett set by Colin M.L. Burnett, licensed under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later (full text (opens in a new tab)), as credited by Lichess. They come inside Chessground’s stylesheet (chessground.cburnett.css), unmodified.

The micro-Max play page’s scripts are by 64Logic and MIT-licensed. Its main script (js/app.js) uses Chessground, so the two together are distributed under the terms of the GPL-3.0-or-later, and their complete source is on this page. Other components keep their own licenses, listed on this page, and micro-Max itself remains public domain.

chess.js

Move rules and notation come from chess.js 1.4.0 by Jeff Hlywa, BSD 2-Clause License (full text (opens in a new tab)). The page loads its unmodified ES module build.
